In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. This meme is about books that you received or bought during the week.

The above photo is the tallest IMM I ever posted though it is not the largest number of books in my IMM. I’m just too lazy to take a photo of each books. Forgotten and Perfect Chemistry came from Lesley of My Keeper Shelf, the rest I bought the past few days from local bookstores. Undead much? and the two books I received are in paperback format while the others are all hardbound. As you can see above I got another copies of Maggie Stiefvater’s The Wolves of Mercy Falls series. I want to upgrade my paperback copies of the first two books to match up with my hardbound copy of Forever but I end up buying the whole boxset since I can’t get just the two books without buying the whole set. So watch out what will I do with my other copies. Here are the book titles from top to bottom:

That’s all the books I got this week and still waiting for five more books I ordered from book depository. Hopefully they get here soon and not lost in the mail. What about you, what books did you get in your mailbox this week? And what do you think of the books above?

  1. I got Linger and Shiver in paperback from a closing Borders, and I hate it when my books don’t match too so now I either have to wait for Forever in paperback or hope I’ll come upon hardbacks for a good price someday… D:

    But this is a nice IMM. 🙂

    • I really want my series books in the same format so I hate it when publishers are not consistent with their books formats. It’s either I wait too long for the release or I end up buying multiple copies in different format till I got the right one. I hope they released a paperback of Forever too. Maybe I can add that one with my other copies before giving it away.

  3. Oh my gosh!!! I want this pile….I’m like really 7 shades of envy right now!! boo LOL
    What are you going to do with your other copies of the Wolves of Mercy Falls 😉
    I want to read Undead Much? *sigh* oh well…lovely pile 🙂

    • Thanks Ana. I plan to give away the other copy of mercy falls series, I just have to wait till I get back my copy of Forever from my friend who borrowed it. Undead Much will have to wait in my TBR since I still don’t have a copy of the first book. I need to hunt that one, hopefully I can get a paperback copy that will much with Undead Much.

  4. oh and my books have to match too…I’m really annoying with this kind of this haha and since I prefer hardbacks, is really hard for me sometimes 🙂

    • I prefer all my books in hardbacks too. Sometimes I end up buying multiple copies just because I can’t get the books I want in hardback format. I’m always upgrading my paperback copies to hardbound =( like with happened to Shiver and Linger. Ahhh I wish all books I want is always available in hardbound.

    • haha 😀 don’t worry you are not the only one tortured by that IMM. I myself was tortured deciding what to pick-up first. Maybe it is better to buy books one at a time but can’t stop myself last Saturday while doing my book shopping with friends. I wish I got more time to read.
