The 34th Manila International Book Fair

One more week till MIBF (Manila International Book Fair). Who’s excited to attend this biggest book fair in Manila?

Every second week of September, the biggest and longest running book fair of the country, MIBF is opening its door to all book lovers/bookworms/readers to explore and enjoy trade fair of books. With an objective of bringing books closer to the Filipino people by promoting good reading habits and providing a venue for the exchange of ideas, MIBF organized this annual huge gathering in celebration of the written words.

Both local and international publishing companies are presents in this event, which means a lots of literary activities and tons of books to be found. Book stores, and other sellers are also there. There will be tons of books at discounted prizes. All genre and type are presents, from fiction, non-fictions, best sellers, general reference, graphic novels, children books, coffee table books, magazines, and more. There are also special events like book signings, book launches, talks, seminars, story telling, poetry reading, games, and other interesting and fun literary activities for all.

This year event will run from September 11 to September 15, 2013. Booths, stores and other participating organization/company will open from 10:00am to 08:00pm, at the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Drive, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Aside from that, participating organizations/companies have their own schedule of activities too, so make sure to check them also. And don’t forget to get your tickets. A lots of participating company offers free tickets or passes for the event. Adarna House is offering free tickets from their website, just visit their page and download the pdf version of their tickets to print. Fully Booked also offers free tickets, just go to any of their store branches and ask from their customer service.
