Blood Rose Rebellion Playlist

The playlist is a little eclectic, but I was looking for songs that captured the kind of haunting tone I was aiming for in much of the book. I think of “I of the Monster” as a kind of theme song for Anna. Other songs, like Koncz Zsuzsa’s “Ha én rósza volnék” represent more classical Hungarian folktunes, like the ones Anna would have encountered in Hungary for the first time. Others, like “Brave” and “Uprising” are simply good fight songs. 🙂

Rosalyn Eves grew up in the Rocky Mountains, dividing her time between reading books and bossing her siblings into performing her dramatic scripts. As an adult, the telling and reading of stories is still one of her favorite things to do. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys spending time with her chemistry professor husband and three children, watching British period pieces, or hiking through the splendid landscape of southern Utah, where she lives. She dislikes housework on principle. BLOOD ROSE REBELLION is her first novel.

Wendy lives in ​West Dundee, the best neighborhood in America (as crowned by Good Morning America in 2010) with her husband​, two kids, and ​a couple of guinea pigs​.
