Celebrating Debutantes 2017: The Disappearances by Emily Bain Murphy (Playlist + Giveaway)

Today I’m thrilled to welcome new author Emily Bain Murphy to the blog as part of Celebrating Debutantes 2017 event. Emily will be sharing a playlist that she made for her debut novel The Disappearances, which releases tomorrow, July 4th. I am really excited to read this one. The book is one of my most anticipated reads of 2017. Not only because it combine mystery and fantasy which two of my favourite genre but also because of the many good things that I’ve been reading about it online. I have placed an advance order for this one from our local book store, so I can only hope that my copy is ready for pick up when I get back in Manila in few days!

Emily Bain Murphy grew up in Indiana, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, and has also called California, Connecticut, and Massachusetts home.

She loves books, Japanese-style karaoke, exploring new cities, and anything with Nutella. Her debut YA fantasy, THE DISAPPEARANCES, will be published by HMH Books for Young Readers and Pushkin Press in July 2017.
